Adrienne and Gary Dalton have set up a native plant nursery on their dairy farm so they can train and employ people who would otherwise be on a benefit. The trainees are taught life-skills and work skills and in the past three years 62 people have left the nursery for jobs in the community. The Daltons are hoping their programme will be rolled out across the country.
