Kiwi firefighter explains the devastation at Victorian fires

From Five O'clock Report, 5:50 pm on 7 January 2016

New Zealand fire fighters are at the front lines of bushfires that have been burning for weeks in the Australian state of Victoria. More than a hundred people were evacuated from homes on Christmas Day because of the fires which are still burning along a stretch of the Great Ocean Road. The New Zealand team is staying in a camp near the town of Colac (Ko-lac) and working long days, in very steep terrain to contain the fire. Dunedin's deputy principal rural fire officer, Graham Still, is one of them and has just done a flyby of the area. He told me what he saw. regions]
