Their names are unfamiliar to many, yet Meri Manga-Kahia, Areta Mahu-Puku, Akene Tomoana and Sophia Herangi were some of the women of New Zealand's Suffrage movement. Ana Tapiata talks with Tania Simpson from the Ministry of Womens Affairs about the reasons these women wanted to vote and to stand for Parliament.
