Today in Parliament for Tuesday 6 September 2016 - evening edition

From In Parliament, 6:55 pm on 6 September 2016

A bill extending the time for establishing Special Housing Areas by three years to September 2019 is pushed through after the Government, supported by its three satellite parties, puts the House under Urgency at the end of Question Time. The bill is vigorously opposed by Opposition parties who say they could vote for an extension of time for establishing special housing areas but not for measures affecting property rights relating to land taken for housing under the Public Works Act.
