Insight investigates primary school National Standards
By last Friday, all primary and intermediate schools must have sent the Ministry of Education their targets for the national standards in reading, writing and maths.
But some schools planned to defy that requirement, putting them on a collision course with the government.
Education Correspondent, John Gerritsen, explores why there is such strong opposition to the standards while other schools are happy to use them.
