Traffic congestion in Auckland is now worse than in Hong Kong.
Aucklanders who drive to work are spending an extra 172 hours, or four working weeks, stuck in traffic every year, a new report from GPS technology company TomTom shows.
But it's not just a problem for Auckland.
Tom Tom's vice-president of Sales for Asia Pacific, Phil Allen, told Morning Report congestion has risen in all of the six New Zealand cities they surveyed.
