The Forces' Sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn turns 100

The woman known as the Forces' Sweetheart has turned 100 today. Dame Vera Lynn is an entertainer whose songs and radio programme helped British soldiers and civilians keep calm and carry on during World War two.
