Impassioned plea to increase refugee numbers

In 2003 Yibeth Morales Ayala, her parents and younger sister were granted refugee status in New Zealand. Last week she spoke at an event attended by the Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse, the UN Refugee Agency's local representative and other Government officials. She made an impassioned plea for New Zealand to accept more refugees.
