Locals desperate for proper solution to Manawatu Gorge woe

Locals packed out a sports centre in Woodville last night demanding a solution to the difficulties posed by the closed Manawatu Gorge road. Ray Cook lives in Woodville but has to get to Manawatu for regular medical care -- he told our reporter Jacob McSweeny it's only a matter of time before the Manawatu Gorge's diversion, the Saddle Road, completely fails.
