Govt says it can pay for Auckland's $1b transport blowout

A leaked copy of the latest Auckland transport plan shows light rail is among the projects being fast-tracked for the city. It also shows a funding gap of about $1 billion. Transport Minister Simon Bridges told Demelza Leslie the government will cover the shortfall.
