Bangladesh floods worst in 40 years, 8 million affected

Monsoon floods in India, Bangladesh and Nepal have caused the region's biggest humanitarian crisis in years, with more than 1200 people killed and millions of people stranded and in need of aid. In Bangladesh, the worst floods in 40 years have covered more than half of the country, killing at least 140 people, and directly affecting more than 8 million. Matt Marek from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies describes the devastation.
