'Significant consequences' for all if US responds to N Korea

The United Nations Security Council is holding an emergency session after North Korea's latest missile launch.

Senior research associate and North Korea expert at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Shea Cotton says the missile launch, which crossed Japan, was a test of firing over land and testing maximum range. 

It's probably not the final straw that will force a military response from countries like the United States, as there'd be significant consequences for all sides in the dispute, he says.
