Fuel industry promises Auckland won't run out of petrol

The petrol industry is reassuring Aucklanders the city won't run out of fuel while the Marsden Pt pipeline is out of action but the disruption for airline passengers continues. The city's petrol pumps are being topped up by petrol tankers from the refinery at Whangarei and the port of Tauranga at Mount Maunganui. Defence Force drivers are being drafted in to get fuel tankers to petrol stations, and the HMNZS Endeavour is helping move diesel around the country.
