Home care cut without warning - Hutt Valley residents

Some Hutt Valley residents say they are shocked to learn their home-help is being cut back without warning. One caregiver says seven of her clients have had their care reduced, but they knew nothing about it until she told them. Her employer, Access, which is contracted by the DHB to look after 1,500 people in their homes, insists no-one would have their allocated care cut without being reassessed.
