Pacific calls for global climate action at UN

The Pacific has presented a united front at the UN General Assembly in New York in calling for global action on climate change. Leaders from the smallest to the largest countries in the region called on the world's major carbon emitters to take tangible steps to reduce their emissions and for more countries to ratify the Paris Climate Agreement.
