Council leaves protester without running water

From Morning Report, 6:41 am on 29 September 2017

The man at the centre of a long-running dispute over a central North Island lake has been left with no running water, but health officials say the move is illegal. Phil Taueki has been occupying a building next to Lake Horowhenua for the past 13 years, but in November last year, the Horowhenua Distict Council cut the water supply at the request of the building's owners, the Lake Horowhenua Trust. The Trust's chairperson Matiu Sword joins us to explain the move.
