Spain forces end to Catalan parliament session

Spain's high court has suspended a Catalan parliament session in an attempt to block the region's bid for independence. The court ruled that if the region met and declared independence in parliament as planned on Monday, this would be a "breach of the constitution". Last weekend's referendum was declared unlawful by the central government in Madrid, and the European Commission, and on the day it was violently disrupted by Spanish police. Ricard Royo lives near Barcelona and joins us to explain.
