NZ population to keep heading for Auckland

Immigration experts estimate Auckland is on its way to being the home to at least 40-percent of New Zealanders. It follows official figures that more than three quarters of the population live in the North Island. The fastest growing areas have been in large cities and neighbouring districts. Paul Spoonley is a Massey University demographer, and tells us the strain on infrastructure in Auckland needs to be addressed.
