Pasifika leaders urge calm after Samoan, Tongan brawls

There have been several brawls in south Auckland between Tongans and Samoans in recent days, ahead of the two countries' Rugby League World Cup match in Hamilton on Saturday. Police say some were carrying poles and sticks and six people were arrested. Tongan and Samoan community leaders are calling for calm, as well as Minister for Pacific Peoples Aupito Su'a William Sio and the Minister for Ethnic Communities, Jenny Salesa.
