Elderly mental health service urgently needed - helpline

Organisers of a phone helpline for the elderly say the response reveals a major lack of mental health support for seniors, many of whom are struggling with loneliness and isolation. The pilot programme, called Silver Line, took nearly 800 calls over three months and more than a third were from people with mental health problems.
