Auckland Council is scrambling to organise a family friendly event for Tongan rugby league fans to prevent disorder from spilling out onto the streets on Saturday night. The council's tourism fund won't foot the bill for a fanzone, but community leaders, police, the council and fans met last night to come up with another solution.
