Corrections responds to report slamming prison violence

Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier is concerned about the level of violence within prisons, warning it is as bad as the fight clubs seen in the former Serco-run Mt Eden Corrections Facility. Judge Boshier has issued a scathing report into Christchurch Men's Prison yesterday, after an unannounced inspection earlier this year. Neil Beale is the chief custodial officer for the Department of Corrections and joins us now with his reaction.
