US recognises Jerusalem: Peters maintains two-state solution

Christmas cheer, peace and goodwill are in short supply on the streets of Bethlehem with sporadic violence breaking out in the Occupied West Bank following Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The leader of the Palestinian Islamist movement, Hamas, has called for a new intifada - or popular uprising and the powerful Lebanese group Hezbollah is backing his call. Meanwhile, US allies including Britain and France, along China and Muslim nations have criticised Mr Trump's move. NZ's new Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters joins Guyon Espiner with his response to the move.
