Future uncertain for west Auckland bus routes

From Morning Report, 6:21 am on 11 December 2017

Uncertainty surrounds some bus services in West Auckland, with one operator trying to relinquish runs, just months into a new contracting regime. Pavlovich Coachlines would not comment, but RNZ understands at least two operators have declined to take over the services, because of the terms agreed with the city's transport agency. First Union which represents some bus drivers, blames the new, more competitive tendering system brought in by the previous government, and now part-way through it's Auckland rollout.
