Roadworks blamed for bottleneck at end of 110km/h road

From Morning Report, 8:42 am on 11 December 2017

A new 110km/h speed limit has come into effect on two New Zealand roads. One is a section of the Waikato Expressway between Cambridge and Tamahere. The other road is the Tauranga Eastern Link. Harry Wilson, New Zealand Transport Agency's road safety director, tells Kim Hill it's a balanced approach, as some road speeds will drop to 80km/h.
