Dry weather threatens private water supplies

Aucklanders on private water supplies are on their own if they run out with the city's Council and water provider say its not their responsibility. The dry summer hasn't helped as the holidays approach, with water tank suppliers quoting waits of up to four weeks for fresh water deliveries.
