Toxic foam: Poisoned firefighter warns NZers to get tested

From Morning Report, 6:16 am on 7 February 2018

An Australian firefighter with toxic foam chemicals in his blood says people in New Zealand living on contaminated sites near air force bases need to be properly tested. Toxic firefighting foam was banned here more than ten years ago but tests have found it's contaminated the water supplies of five properties near Ohaea, and two near Blenheim. Mick Tisbury helped lead the push for free blood-testing of Victoria's firefighters as the scale of foam contamination across Australia started to become clear in 2015.
