Labour Māori MPs promise Māori charter schools to stay open

Labour's Māori MPs including associate education minister Kelvin Davis have given their word that Māori charter schools will not be shut down. But if they stay open, it will by changing their status to a designated state character school. There's been a mixed response from the heads of two Māori charter schools in Auckland and Whangarei about their likely future. Te Manu Korihi reporter John Boynton has more.
