Is NZ going beyond its brief in Iraq?
The Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is expected to put pressure on New Zealand next month to extend its military mission in Iraq. The subject is expected to feature when Jacinda Ardern meets Mr Turnbull in Sydney. Foreign Minister Winston Peters has said the issue was discussed when he met his Australian counterpart Julie Bishop last week, but no decision would be made until there had been talks with the Iraqi government.
