Trump hails 'possible progress' on North Korea's nukes

North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-un, has told South Korean envoys he is willing to begin negotiations with the United States on abandoning its nuclear weapons. North Korea says it will suspend nuclear tests while those talks are under way. In response to the news President Trump tweeted a few hours ago: "For the first time in many years, a serious effort is being made by all parties concerned. The World is watching and waiting! May be false hope, but the U.S. is ready to go hard in either direction!" Professor Sung-Yoon Lee is an expert on US-Korea relations at Tufts University in the United States and joins us with his analysis.
