A widely-supported housing movement in Auckland has decided to pack-up, and let the mayor Phil Goff take up the challenge of tackling the city's housing shortage.
The sector group with hundreds of supporters, has run parallel with the Mayor's Housing Taskforce for more than a year. The winding-up follows a lengthy stand-off between the pair, which the mayor's office appeared briefly to have resolved. RNZ Auckland correspondent Todd Niall reports.
