Corrections reviews where sex offenders living

From Morning Report, 7:24 am on 16 March 2018

Corrections has announced a nationwide review of where high-risk offenders live and whether local communities have been notified, after it was discovered 11 convicted child sex-offenders were living less than a kilometre away from a South Auckland school. Last week, the Department apologised to two Otahuhu schools, which weren't told about the men who had been living in a nearby boarding house for at least two years. All of them have since been moved out of the street, but locals still want to know why so many were housed in one place. Eva Corlett reports.
