Murder-accused thought gun safety lock was on, court told

A man accused of murdering his girlfriend says he thought the safety catch was on when he fired the fatal shot. Turiarangi Tai is on trial at the High Court in Auckland charged with the murder of 22-year-old Chozyn Koroheke at her Pakuranga home in April 2017. Laura Tupou has been following the trial.
