Power failure latest in Middlemore's problems

Middlemore Hospital's woes continue with revelations that its Manukau Superclinic suffered a major power failure. The DHB was forced to use emergency generators for weeks after one of two high-voltage cables feeding the clinic blew and could not be fixed last year. The health board says the electricity supply has been fixed and is not unreliable. But RNZ has been told of a hospital-wide power cut just two months ago.
