Greens get set to select a new female co-leader

From Morning Report, 8:19 am on 6 April 2018

James Shaw's eight month run as the sole Green Party leader ends this weekend, with either Marama Davidson or Julie Anne Genter poised to join him as co-leader. Party delegates have until Saturday to cast their votes, and the winner will be announced on Sunday. The position became vacant when Metiria Turei resigned before last year's General Election after disclosing she had committed benefit fraud. Under its constitution, the party has to have both a female and a male co-leader. Political commentator Dr Bryce Edwards from Victoria University speaks to Guyon Espiner about his thoughts on the race.
