Tourism industry summit heads to Dunedin

From Morning Report, 8:56 am on 7 May 2018

Hundreds of tourist operators, buyers and agents are due to descend on Dunedin this week for TRENZ, the country's annual event for the tourism industry. It's the first time Dunedin will host the event, which is often described as business speed dating for the buyers and operators and will generate millions of dollars of business for the country. While it's an opportunity for businesses to market themselves to media and agents from around the world, attendees are also hoping to hear solutions for some of the challenges that the industry is facing. RNZ tourism reporter Belinda McCammon is there.
