Petone businesses lose money over roadworks

A Petone businessman says he'll find it hard to feed his family, after road works on a Petone street saw him lose 65 percent of his profits over three weeks in April. He's asking the Hutt City Council for compensation. Other shops around the same stretch of Jackson Street say they lost thousands of dollars because road works caused so much congestion, people avoided the area.
