NZ buildings make more emissions than thought - report

A new report says buildings are responsible for 20 percent of climate change emissions by New Zealanders. That's a huge increase from the Productivity Commission's estimate of between two-to-five percent. But an international consultancy firm that advises companies on how to become more environmentally sustainable is standing by its radical new calculations.
