Govt under pressure on promise to fix homelessness

The number of people asking for help finding a home is skyrocketing, and the Government is under renewed pressure to deliver on its promises to see every New Zealander with a roof over their head. Labour was heavily critical of the previous government last winter when it was revealed families were living in garages and cars in the coldest months. With winter looming, the number of individuals, couples and families asking for help is up to nearly 8000 - a record high. Our political reporter Gia Garrick has the story.
