Auckland stadium report controversy takes new turn

From Morning Report, 7:55 am on 28 May 2018

There's a new turn in the controversay around Auckland's downtown stadium report with a public law specialist saying councillors should not be restricted in their access to it. Two have complained to the Ombudsman that the only way they can see a full version of the initial feasibility study, is being reading it in the mayor's office. The million dollar report has already caused ripples, being personally commissioned by the mayor last year, but then withheld from RNZ for nearly six months until the Ombudsman ruled against the council. RNZ Auckland correspondent Todd Niall has been driving this one and talks through the details with Guyon Espiner.
