Car dealer counts cost of wheel thieves

From Morning Report, 6:46 am on 30 May 2018

A Hawke's Bay car dealer says he's about to give-up and walk away after 14 years in the job because of alloy wheel thieves. Bruce Stuart runs Mega Save Cars in Napier and he's had seven sets of wheels stolen from his yard over the past couple of months - a man was caught on the weekend and is expected to appear in court next month. Mr Stuart sells cars on behalf of the owners and says he's had to fork-out around $20,000 of his own money to repair and replace wheels and tyres. He told RNZ reporter Jonathan Mitchell he's gutted.
