Eugenie Sage addresses 'broken' NZ recycling system
Recycled materials are being stockpiled around the country while authorities struggle to work out what to do with it all. Last year, China stopped taking 24 different types of waste. A report out today from the waste industry organisation WasteMinz says our recycling system is broken. Associate Environment Minister Eugenie Sage joins Alex Perrottet in the Auckland studio to speak about the problem.
