Air Chathams will get local council funding for its planned Paraparaumu to Auckland route, but it's not yet clear how much. On Thursday afternoon the Kāpiti Coast District Council voted to support the airline. Air New Zealand stopped flying the route in early April. Duane Emeny is the General Manager of Air Chathams.
