'Skinner has declined to speak' - Goochland County sheriff

A New Zealand man who was shot in the US trying to enter the house of a teenage girl he'd met online, has now been arrested and is being held in a secure ward at a local hospital. Twenty-five-year old Troy Skinner travelled from New Zealand to Goochland County where he tried to break into the house before being shot by the girl's mother. Goochland County sherriff Jim Agnew spoke to RNZ reporter Laura Dooney a few minutes ago and told her how the family was coping.
