From Morning Report, 7:27 am on 6 July 2018

A mother who had three children taken by social services has opened up about when she fell pregnant and her fear that they were taking her baby. Under current laws, most parents who have a previous child uplifted meet the legislative criteria for their next baby to be removed, but don't know it. The 39 year-old mother says she was no longer with her violent partner and it wasn't fair that her unborn baby was targeted. RNZ Maori news correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan reports.
