Iwi challenges Otakiri Springs water consents

A Whakatane iwi is objecting to a Chinese-owned company being given consents to millions of litres of water for bottling. Te Runanga o Ngati Awa has lodged an appeal in the Environment Court opposing the consents which are part of an expansion of the Otakiri Springs water bottling plant near Whakatane.
