From Morning Report, 7:35 am on 11 July 2018

A free speech advocacy group raised 50 thousand dollars in less than 24 hours in a crowdfunding campaign to take legal action against Auckland Mayor Phil Goff. Mr Goff last week announced that a pair of controversial right-wing speakers from Canada would be banned from using Auckland Council venues during a planned visit to New Zealand next month. Mr Goff said he made the decision himself and stood by it. Former National Party leader and member of the Free Speech Coalition, Don Brash, talks to Guyon Espiner.
