From Morning Report, 8:50 am on 2 August 2018

Scrawny, malnourished and anaemic. Just some of the words used to describe a young Auckland man, who died after a suspected heroin overdose. The man, who cannot be named, lost conciousness in a council apartment complex in November 2013 and later died in hospital. An inquest before Coroner Debra Bell has heard intimate details of a life that spiralled out of control. RNZ reporter Anneke Smith has been following the case and filed this report.
