Man arrested just hours after prison release

A man arrested for shoving a security guard at a Work and Income office just hours after leaving prison is blaming rude and intimidating staff. Jamie Mako has been barred from every WINZ office in the Wellington region, after pushing a guard last month. But he says he was provoked and reacted the only way he knew how.
