Auckland ethnic minority communities need more protection - police

Auckland police are admitting they need to do a much better job protecting Indian, Chinese and other ethnic minority communities from crime. They told a meeting in Henderson on Monday night they know those groups often don't trust officers and won't ask for help. Now they've promising change with the appointment of new inspector in charge of building a closer relationship.
